Wal-Mart graphs and charts

Hi, I've been having a hard time finding a data set on total Wal-Mart store count, and I assume that you compiled the data used for the above two graphs yourself from annual reports. Would you be willing to share your data set, or otherwise let me know where you found it? Thanks, and compliments on the great sight.

Hi Matt -
I am very willing to share my data. Sorry you didn't already find it. I've posted all my data as links from the main page of the blog. Go here to get the store count data.
Best,

Hi Matt,

You have a very interesting site. Have you looked at comparing Wal-Mart to other top grocers?

Wow...that is hilarious! Wally and Marti! Great sight though. Have you thought of sharing info about Wal-Mart's stock trends?

I also like to study Walmart and share some of the good things that they do with my graduate students. Have thought about creating a chart showing their gross sales (WW) by year (and month). I have been trying to determine when they became the first company in the history of the world to have sales of $ Billion dollars a day. It was probably sometime in the 2007-2008 time frame.
